Brit Kodesh, A Sacred Covenant: A Conference on Brit Milah

This program was designed with physicians in mind whose practices are primarily in communities underserved by non-physician mohalim.  Hazzan Howard K. Glantz was one of the rare exceptions admitted to and certified by the program due to the quality of his hospital training.

Most of Glantz's classmates who took part in this intensive training at the Jewish Theological Seminary in New York City, were not as familiar with the Mogen clamp technique.  They had not yet encountered the religious issues and circumstances that are commonly encountered by moyels today. While Hazzan Glantz was able to share his knowledge and expertise with the physicians, they furthered his understanding and ability to recognize the physical conditions (hypospadius, chordee, wandering raphes etc.) that can delay the bris.
