The Ceremony

The Two Certificates Rabbi Glantz Brings to Every Bris

Rabbi Howard Glantz

From Rabbi Glantz you will receive two certificates.

The Bris Certificate

A certificate is nice to have for your records, and Rabbi Glantz will bring one he has custom-made with your son's Hebrew and English names. There is a place to include any clergy who may be co-officiating, as well as the participants and relatives in attendance.

Some families have enjoyed designating a spot for the certificate to rest during the bris and inviting everyone in attendance to sign all over the front and back. Years into the future, it serves as a record — by their own hand — of every person who was there that day.

The Kippah Warranty

The second certificate often brings a chuckle — but Rabbi Glantz means it seriously. He is thrilled when, a few years later, a family contacts him because the petite little kippah from the bris no longer fits on the once-tiny head.

The kippah warranty — yes, really.

When that day comes, email Rabbi Glantz and a replacement kippah will be on its way.
